Boxing: How does Mexican challenger’s coach describe Jerwin Ancajas

Mexican challenger Israel Gonzalez knows having to fight for a world title does not come by every day.

So when he faces Filipino world junior bantamweight champion Jerwin Ancajas on February 3, he vows to unleash everything he has picked up in training.

“My dream is to become the first world champion of Cabo San Lucas. I’m ready to shine … it’s my time and I’m not going to waste it,” he said in an article posted on BoxingScene.com.

Gonzalez is currently training at a high-altitude camp in Jiquipilco town, Mexico, under the watchful eye of Adalberto “Condor” Sánchez, to make sure he will be in great shape for the biggest fight of his career.
